Nee Nees

Elanora absolutely loves tomatoes. When she's hungry she runs around the house saying "nee nees, nee nees". Anytime she is outside at my parents house she makes a beeline for the garden singing at the top of her lungs NEE NEES. What in the world are nee nees and what in the world do they have to do with tomatoes? Although my thoughts do tend to wander freely from thing to thing, today they are right on track and the 2 things relate to one another.
(I realize that this cute pictures has nothing to do with tomatoes, but just look how cute she looks chowing down on corn)
Lil' Boss talks really well. She repeats everything anybody says. So, you might wonder why she calls tomatoes nee nees right? Long story short...my cute niece Alivia called them nee nees when she was a wee little one. My dad loved the way she talked so much that he can't resist calling them nee nees. It's really cute when Nory Bug says 'nee nees' in that hopeful little voice of hers.

You may think my train of thought derailed at the beginning of this post but rest assured it did not, this post is about Hooper Tomato Days. See, nee nees + Tomato Days = all trains right on schedule.
Speaking of train

Oh yes indeed Tomato Days had a train. Kira and Lincoln boy rode together

Brave little twinner Lexi, rode by herself.

Braver yet was Jaycee. She agreed to ride with the wild child. The ride started out a little rocky but by the end, Nora was possibly enjoying it...at least she stopped crying and saying "no,no,no"

(Can you see the small amount of fear in those beautiful blues? She gets it from her dad. Proof in the pictures below )

My dad, Kira, Jaycee, and I decided it would be a good idea to ride one of those things that go around and around. Everyone else Chickened out.

Before

After

In between

No worries, none of the participants threw up. Although those who didn't ride the ride had a walk of shame back to the car because they couldn't hang with the toughies!
Jaycee did a little rock climbing, and in true Italian Page style, had a hard time coming down before she rang the bell on the top. She is one tough cookie. That little whip of a thing was climbing in the second to hardest spot and not too long ago had a cast on her whole arm

A little rodeo action

 and some extreme swinging

These activities occurred in lazy, summertime, fair fashion and were written in no particular train of thought order!
